About
Hi, I’m Rahel
I am an event speaker and filmmaker from Zurich. Since 2017 I have been announcing and hosting at sports events, on stage and in panel discussions. As a video journalist and filmmaker I also tell stories that I research, shoot and edit myself.
My path led from radio through the regional TV channels of CH Media (TeleZüri and Tele 1) to reports for SRF, swissinfo and blue. In 2023 I worked as a reporter in Ghana during a MAZ foreign-desk internship (MAZ-Ausland-Stage), which deepened my interest in social and environmental stories.
Education: I studied Media and Communication at the University of Zurich, completed a Master’s in Environmental Communication at SLU in Sweden and, in 2025, a CAS in Documentary Film at the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB).
